This article lists the 100 Longest-known living or deceased heads of state or heads of government of sovereign states (often a president or prime minister) and cardinals, born no earlier than 1800, and whose ages are documented in reliable sources. Those currently living are in bold on gold. The longest-lived non acting state leader with known exact dates of birth and death was the Longest lived former state leader is the former Acting Cambodian Prime Minister Chau Sen Cocsal Chhum, who lived to 103 years, 143 days. For the Cardinals the longest-lived was Italian Cardinal Corrado Bafile who lived to 101 years, 214 days.
